Matson Lehtinen: Hawaiian Vacation Hot Spots

Aside from being a highly successful financial expert, Matson Lehtinen is also a well-versed traveler. Matson Lehtinen has been to many different exotic places around the world, but his favorite place to travel is Hawaii, his home away from home. Because he has been there so many times, he wants to share a few of his beloved spots, which are tucked away in some his favorite Hawaiian vacation destinations.

Kauai’s Secret Cave

On the island of Kauai, there’s a secret wet cave which is also known as the “Blue Room.” This is one of Matson Lehtinen’s favorite spots in Hawaii. The Blue Room is located on the North Shore of Kauai, and it’s a rare geographical formation on the inside of the wet cave. The sunlight reflects off the clear blue water on the outside of the cave, creating a majestic, iridescent blue light inside the cave. Matson Lehtinen recommends visiting Kauai’s secret cave if you ever have the chance. He promises that is will surely leave you in awe of the Earth’s rare beauty.

Oahu’s Diamond Head

One of Oahu’s jewels, according to Matson Lehtinen, is the summit of the Diamond Head monument. Located on the eastern edge of the coastline, this is a historic hiking trail like no other. The trail to the summit begins on a paved path then leads to the first set of stairs. Going through another series of tunnels and stairs, you are brought to a breathtaking view at the summit of Diamond Head. Matson Lehtinen reminds future hikers to take plenty of water! And, of course, pack sunscreen and a hat!

Matson Lehtinen hopes that he will someday own a vacation home in Hawaii. Both he and his family fully enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer, and they escape to their exotic home away from home as often as they possibly can.
